Game time

I have been stressed out all week. Paranoid that my desk will be decorated in my opponent's colors. Worried that I can't forget any of my ASU routines for the night before and even more importantly concerned that we might not win. But today I woke up ready to go, decked out in ASU gear and hoping for a big win tomorrow. Don't worry Lucy will be in her ASU gear too.
And in case you were wondering I am cooking two things for tailgating but you have to wait and see.........

Changing my reputation... Or maybe just getting another nickname

Can you even believe it..... I made an apple pie last night all by myself. I have no idea if it is edible but we will find out tonight at family friends dinner. Since the word was spread I have gotten two more nicknames (meggy cocker and Martha meg).. I am sure it will not be enough to change my horrible cook reputation but I'll let you know how it goes. Until then send me any super easy recipes. I will give them a try.... I think.

All caught up

Ahhhh it has finally happened the wedding festivities are blogged and I am finally ready to put up a post about just last week, can you believe it? Hopefully I can keep this up. The next few pictures are from the last few weekends. My mom and I went to Minnesota to see an old friend Blair Smith get married. It was great to be in the cold, spend time with pregnant Lynette and drink caribou hot chocolate with every meal. I was so glad to be invited as part of Blair's special day and it was great to see the Mallard Drive gang. Also there is a few pictures from Halloween and Whitney. All in all I can't believe fall is coming to a close and the holidays will be here before we know it!

I can't wait for Thanksgiving next weekend!

Fall Birthdays!

There is something about fall birthdays that I just love and I can't exactly put my finger on what it is..... The only reason I can come up with for loving fall birthdays is friends and family getting together around the holidays. Everyone is so much more happier and cheery during the holidays so maybe that is why birthdays in the fall seem soooooo fun! Here are a few pictures from some of the birthdays I've celebrated so far this fall.....

Andra, Brittany, Phoenix, Eric, Tibbetts, Rachel, Sheila, Sam and Tug hopefully I didn't forget too many people!

Getting ready

While the weekend was fun I think it was safe to say that everyone was ready for the big day. It is amazing how fast the morning of the big day goes by. You have to be up so early and before you know it the band stops playing and everyone's feet are sore. Needless to say we had a blast and it was soooooo fun to get all dolled up.
Only a few small issues (the bus breaking down and barely making it to the church on time)

The Big Day

and it's finally over..... :-( It was so great to have everyone in town and the weekend couldn't have been more fun.
What will we talk about next.....

Rehearsal Dinner

So no wedding weekend is complete without a little practice... in comes rehearsal. While I love weddings this event is definitely my least favorite. There is no worse job than trying to organize a bunch of adults to remember what they need to do tomorrow.... no thank you. Instead I'll stick to the party planning. The rehearsal dinner was nothing short of a great party. Good food, friends, family, laughs with a gorgeous sunset as the backdrop. Thanks to Adrian's family!
