Rule breaker

So I tried to make a new rule for Tommy (No shopping for yourself after Thanksgiving).  The main purpose obviously would so he doesn't buy himself something that Santa is already bringing for Christmas (obviously there were lots of collateral affects on my own spending).  What I didn't expect was for Anthropologie to decide to discount my favorite white watch.  [originally $58 now $39.95 on sale for only one day], how do you pass that up??  I begged and begged and begged and then begged some more to have the chance to buy just this one thing.  Tommy said no, said no and said no again.  So the computer was taken from me and the sale passed... no watch was bought.  Life goes on...

Lesson learned never make stupid rules
Tommy and I opened presents last night since it was our only night the three of us (Sam, Tommy and I).  I was pleasantly surprised to find the perfect white watch from Anthropologie in my stocking (such a great BF).  The bad news is Tommy bought it months ago and missed the great sale.

Lesson learned your girlfriend is always right.

Remembering...

I can't believe tomorrow will mark the one year anniversary since Karli passed away.  I am sure we will all be taking some time to think about how fantastic Karli was, I can't help but wonder what Bodie will do (the sky is the limit for this little bug).  Please read this wonderful article on Bodie and Will (Karli's husband).  Press here

Miss you Karli!

Another reason

why I absolutely LOVE Fresh and Easy (local grocery store in Phx).  While there were rumors going around that they were closing, I sure hope they aren't true.  Last Thursday I went to the tummy doctor since once again I wasn't feeling good.  He told me I had a virus but also recommended trying to go G Free (Gluten free).  Tommy and I headed to Trader Joes and F & E and scoured the aisles for gluten free food.  The employees at F & E were so helpful and gave me a huge list of everything that is gluten free there (made it sooooo easy).

A few hours later we are back at home.  Me enjoying my GF pizza and Tommy loving his Lamp pizza leftovers.
There is nothing better than a supportive boyfriend who is willing to try the gluten free option more often than not.  I am one lucky lady...

Sure can tell...

a Mexican stays here.  After doing our normal Sunday routine, football, laundry, relaxing and grocery shopping I started to notice that there were a few new items in my pantry.  All new to me!  Someone must like it spicy and hot! --- and we all know it isn't me
Can't wait for tacos tomorrow night--- I hope Tommy is cooking :-)

Swizzle Inn

Friday night Tommy and I headed to meet up with some friends that we hadn't seen in awhile.  It was great to catch up!!  We started with dinner at the Vig (which was a little bit more difficult since I've been gluten free for three whole days).  I figured out what to eat with a little help from some friends and we had a fantastic time.  After dinner we headed to the most magical bar in Phoenix.  Swizzle Inn was decorated from head to toe and it was great to all be back together before everyone left for the Holidays (first time since Tyler moved back to Ohio).  Hope to see everyone again real soon...
[Most of the gang: Tommy, Josh, Brad, Me, Meg and Kevin]

Someone made

the nice list.  Cade was happy to see Santa (which I do not understand), costumes always scared me as a kid.  Who am I kidding they still scare me, who wants to dress up as someone else?  Anyways...

Happy Holidays from the Baileys and Marasigans!!!

All things boy

Or even better all things Cade because he always needs to be looking like a stud. (not like he isn't already) :-)
