Football weekend

Our weekends are finally starting to have a routine.  Football for me on Saturday (Tommy of course enjoys it too) and football for Tommy on Sunday (I usually find something else to do).  Tomorrow Andra and I are celebrating her birthday with pedicures, which is another great excuse to not watch the football games.

Other exciting news this week...

Somehow Sam and Collyn have convinced me to train for a half marathon.  They haven't convinced me to sign up at this point but I am definitely at least training.

Monday: Pilates
Tuesday: Running
Wednesday: Pilates and Running
Thursday: Running
Saturday: Long Run
Sunday: Pilates
This is exactly what I think every morning at 6am...
On other exciting news this week, Famous Amos (my friend that I've known since we were babies) had her baby girl Lucy Rose.  She is soooo absolutely adorable and everyone is doing great relaxing at home.
Congrats to Amy and Jim!!  I can not wait to meet her in January :-)

Catching up

The past few weeks have felt like I am playing catch up.  We/I am finally getting back into our normal routine and life without studying is the best feeling.  Knowing that I am more than capable of doing whatever I like... reading a fun book, watching Netflix, running etc. and I don't have to feel guilty.  This is a great feeling.  Some of my latest and greatest loves include...

1. Sweet Salvage: my vintage window turned bulletin board
2. Milk Duds (yes Snackster is back): best in fridge
3. Monte Lucia: our staycation last weekend-- so gorgeous
4. Fall decorations: lots of adorable options on Etsy
5. Grey's Anatomy: I am finally almost caught up

Hope everyone is having a good week!

Go Devils!!

We spent our week trying to stay busy so that we didn't get too excited about the game on Saturday.  After High Octane hour with Todd Graham on Thursday the anticipation was hard to bear and after hearing that we got sideline passes the countdown soon began.  While neither team played their best and no one really knows what happen in the finally seconds personally I will still take the W.  Tommy and I woke up this morning still feeling completely exhausted, trying to remember exactly what happened last night (and no this wasn't because of alcohol, I was DD).  Either way we had a fantastic time tailgating, hanging with friends and cheering on our team.  Can't wait until Saturday against Stanford.

Eating tour has ended

Well vacation is officially over in just a few more hours.  Since the sky is filled with clouds and lightning, it makes packing and cleaning so much easier.  The last few days we have been eating our way through Whitefish and we have been very impressed.  Since it feels like we have tried every restaurant in town we might as well share some of our favorites.

Tommy's top five
1. Stillwater Fish House
2. Whitefish Lake Restaurant
3. Back Room
4. Boat Club
5. Loula's

Megan's top five
1. Whitefish Lake Restaurant
2. Stillwater Fish House
3. Boat Club
4. Loula's
5. Mackenzie River
We have had an absolute blast and are sad to leave even with the poor weather.  Thanks M & D for giving us a place to stay.  Whitefish, MT will always have a special place in our hearts or maybe just in our stomachs.
