SARRC Annual Breakfast

Autism Awareness month has been keeping us busy.  It seems that just about every few days we are getting ready for the next fundraising event.  Whether it is the KTAR radioathon, autism awareness baseball game, wine event, etc.  Last week was my favorite fundraising event of the year, SARRC's 16th annual community breakfast.
With record breaking attendance and some special guests, the event went off without a hitch.   I couldn't have been more proud to be apart of such a wonderful organization.  If you want to see some of the speeches, you can Click Here.

Thanks again to everyone who took the time from their busy schedules to attend.  Until next year...

Time flies

Last night, Tommy and I celebrated the big two year anniversary.  Somedays I still can't believe that it has already been two years.  Where does the time go?   It seems like only yesterday that my best friend leaned over and kissed me at Country Thunder.
The past two years have been nothing short of amazing.  Last night Tommy completely surprised me and took me to dinner at El Chorro.  Proving of course that Tommy doesn't fit your typical male role, he does listen when I talk :-)

In the fall we drove past this restaurant looking for the Camelback Inn, when I kindly pointed out "Oh that's where El Chorro is, I've heard that place is great.  Collyn went to a wedding there last month".  Tommy said dinner would be a surprise so in true girl fashion I spent my Tuesday over thinking every restaurant option in the valley.  So when Cynthia (my GPS navigation system) slowly guided us to the Paradise Valley area, I grew more and more excited.  The food was delicious and I am sure I will have dreams about the dessert, prickled pear creme brulee! Yum Yum!

So cheers to what the future brings! While I am unsure where I will be in 5, 10, 20 years I know it won't matter with this guy by my side.  Thanks Tommy for continuing to make me a better person, who knows where I would be without you. :-)

Play Ball

After being completely exhausted all week, I got asked to accept a check on behalf of SARRC at the Dbacks game on Friday.
Tommy and I hurried home to get ready and we rushed back downtown to go to the game.  While the diamondbacks couldn't pull out a victory, at least Tommy and I had fun.  Nothing like a little date night with my Mann.

Girls Night

Why are more and more concerts on weekdays???  I am still recovering from being out late on a Wednesday night.  Ellie Goulding kept us more than entertained, but I am still paying the consequences today.  Jess Xander and I decided to spare our significant others and instead chose the Ellie Goulding concert for the perfect girls night.
Of course we hit the nail on the head.  Nothing like dancing, eating and drinking with your friend to your favorite artist. I would definitely recommend seeing Ellie live, she sounds exactly the same as she does on the radio (plus she has an adorable British accent in between songs).

What to plan for our next girls night??? Hmmmm...

Happy Birthday

...to the cutest 2 year old (in Minnesota).  I can't believe one of my best friends has a two year old.
Wish we could be there to celebrate!  Hope your day is great Sophia!!

Let the brainwashing begin

Cousin Abby is here for her Spring Break and I am not sure who decided she needed an ASU tour but the poor girl didn't even know what she was signing up for.  A Megan Bailey ASU tour is pretty fantastic if I do say so myself.  Yesterday we went and had pedicures, then went to ASU and then ate lunch at In n Out (it was the perfect day, it kinda of felt like my birthday).
We covered the entire campus in car and even walked to the more popular spots.  Abby fits right in on the infamous Palm Walk.  Just exchange that shopping bag for a backpack and she's ready to go:-)
Of course I can already picture her at her first ASU football game.
I forgot to ask all Megan Bailey Tour attendees but I think we all had a great time shopping, enjoying the sun and visiting my old stomping grounds.  The tour was exhausting and we definitely needed a mid-afternoon vacation nap (even though I live here and it isn't a vacation).  At night Ali, Adrian and Cade took Abby to an ASU baseball game.  It's not surprising that no one could resist a picture with Sparky...
and I can't blame them one bit. Go Devils!
And I thought this picture was super neat but maybe its because I am completely obsessed with ASU!  Ali's best friend Carly is also visiting this weekend and they relived the bottom picture with Sparky at the baseball game last night.  Pretty cute!

Are you ready for Spring?

If you're in need of lawn care, I have the guy for you...
His lawnmower blows bubbles, he laughs and he even does squats in his underwear.  Call 1.800.too.cute today. Highly recommended.

Weirdest dog in America...

I mean look at the way she chooses to sit.
What did we do for entertainment before Lucy?
