Whitefish, MT

While we were unsure if we were going to be able to relax on vacation, today proved us completely wrong.  We didn't get into Whitefish until about 1am today we tried to sleep in on day 1.  This morning we wanted to start strong with the eating and drinking tour, so we headed to Loula's (my all time favorite breakfast spot).  After Lou's we tried to be productive with groceries, cookies, a coffee stop and then we got lost at the brewery (for t-shirts of course).  We spent the rest of our day floating away on the boat and topped it all off with a GF dinner at MacKenzie River. Tommy may have MADE us go back to the brewery for one more drink...
Thank goodness for Labor Day and time to relax.  We better rest up tonight since we are off tomorrow morning to hike Danny on Trail (at Whitefish Mountain).

Happy Weekend All!

Are you ready for some football???

I know a few of my favorites are definitely getting in the spirit.  Whether your supporting Minnesota or ASU, I love checking Facebook and seeing pictures posted from sporting events (as long as you're not cheering for U of A).  Tommy is in full football mode and since we left for vacation in Whitefish yesterday I made sure to make a limit on the T.V.  Luckily the rules have not had to be enforced.  So make sure you're cheering on some team, maybe the Gophers, Sun Devils, Vikes and/or Cards??
On Thursday Rachel and Luke were cheering for U of M, Go Gophers!!!
Skol Vikes!!  I know this picture made Tory proud not exactly sure how Sophia feels about AP
and last but not least my favorite Sun Devil!  How freaking adorable, ASU!

Jam packed

This week has flown by and I feel exactly how Cade looks...
In fact his hair might even look better than mine.  After a long week Lucy and I are all alone just enjoying a girls night (Sam is babysitting and Tommy is on a work retreat).  I can't believe it is already Friday and more importantly ASU football kicks off in 2 weeks!
Wooohoo Go Devils!  I hope everyone enjoys their weekend, I know I will :-)

T.G.I.F!!!

Thank goodness it is the weekend... or maybe just 8 more hours of work.  Lucy obviously is in full relaxation mode and who can blame her.  I hope to be doing the exact same thing in just a few more hours.  Okay well maybe not the EXACT same thing but you get the idea.
Since it's Friday you might as well celebrate and do something satisfying.  If that just so happens to be donating to a great cause then head on over to my Walk Now for Autism donation page.  Click here

Sunday

Guess where I spent my morning...
studying in my room.  Lucy did everything possible to try to break in.  Good thing we are heading to doggie class this afternoon.  The topic is separation anxiety from your owner.  Hmmmmm Lucy might be a good candidate....

Hahahaha I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend!

Fall do's

Recently I was asked by a friend what were the trends for the Fall.  After being caught off guard, I sat down last night to think about my top trends more in depth.  I finally decided on these top trends choices and the more disappointing news is that most of my top choices are hard to pull off in 110 degrees.  So enjoy favorite Minnesotans of mine.

1. Unique outerwear (this includes hats and scarves too)

2. Prints-- you can do different prints on the top and bottom as long as there the same color
(I am not exactly sure if I'll be pulling this off but I have seen it done the right way)

3. Lots of layers (top colors are emerald and white)

Love and miss you all!!!

Weekend adventures

I couldn't have been more ready for the clock to strike 5 on Friday.  After a new client this week, which meant more sessions I was exhausted come Friday.  Tommy, Sam and I headed to RA to take advantage of their Happy Hour.  It was the perfect way to start our weekend.  Full of studying for me and sports for Tommy, we were ready for some time off from work.
Lately it feels as if our days are consumed with planning and countdowns.  Counting down for the first ASU football game, for the next vacation, for the next episode of big brother, for the 1st High Octane hour, for a friend to come visit in a few weeks.  Might be time for the reminder to live in the now.  So today Lucy and I will be doing laundry and going to dog class, talk about living in the now :-)
