Time crunch

While I can agree my hair is getting a little out of control these days, I swear I've been trying to control the beast.  I tried the Keratin organic bumble and bumble blow out in January and I absolutely LOVED it.  The treatment cut down on the amount of time it took me to get ready in the morning by 30 minutes and you can't beat that.  But of course as women we all know haircuts, colors, highlights and keratin treatments are expense.  So since I am trying to save money for vacation my haircut, coloring and keratin treatment have not been an option (aka a good excuse for looking like such a mess lately).  I love getting pampered at the spa but it just isn't worth it when I know I could spend that money zip lining in Montana in a little over two weeks.  (Can't wait for vacation) So I headed to Target today to look for the Suave over the counter keratin shampoo.  

Has anyone tried this??  I spent far too much time walking up and down the aisles looking for the product with no success, and of course I didn't ask for help.  Maybe I'll check Walgreens tomorrow.

Road tripping

Tommy and I woke up early this morning and headed to flagstaff to go to the Red and White practice. This event is the first Cardinals scrimmage and we were definitely not the only people who thought this was a good idea (the event had a record breaking attendance record: 15,000). While it was great to make Tommy's dream come true it was more fun for me to meet up with some old friends. We were able to meet Christy and Esteven (Christy went to high school with me) and Kristen and Nick (Kristen use to work at SARRC). We didn't stay long but it was nice to get out of town for a little bit.

Anniversary Sale

To say the Bailey women like to shop would be an understatement.  We LOVE to shop and have always loved the Nordstroms Anniversary Sale (use to work at the sale in high school).  What better way to spend a Thursday night than with a homemade grilled cheese (with bacon and cream cheese) in hand and a little online browsing at the sale items.  Just a few cute things...

Batman returns

Tonight some friends and I are getting together to enjoy a little dinner at my favorite place (RA sushi) and then we are going to see the new batman movie.  But more importantly we are all getting together one last time before Panda (Neil) moves away.  While he isn't moving until this weekend, Tommy and I are going to be out of town up in Flagstaff so we wanted just one last time to hang out.  Panda and I have shared lots of great memories and laughs throughout the last few years. While I am excited for Panda to try something new and head to Texas, I am still a little sad.  Hopefully tonight will be a great time to reflect on all the good memories and to say goodbye to Panda.  Good luck!!!

A little spoiling

This past weekend I got a little spoiled. We headed up to my parents for a little staycation (we stay in North Scottsdale for a little getaway). The weekend was fantastic with perfect weather and a great group of friends.

While I got a little spoiled, I decided to pay it forward a bit and babysit Cade for the first time (yep and by babysit I do mean all by myself). Ali was able to escape for a facial and massage(nap) while Cade and I enjoyed a snacker/napper meeting. It was a wonderful weekend, hope the next one is just as good.

No case of the Mondays

Since I did a make up session yesterday(Sunday), I was able to take the afternoon off today and of course I would choose to go to lunch at my favorite place Tealight Cafe.  Katie and I were finally able to get together and meet up with my mom for some fantastic chicken sandwiches.  After enjoying the best lunch, what better way to spend a day off then a little relaxing and shopping with my mom.  We headed over to Kierland and of course had some success with the summer sales.  So nice to have a little time off with Katie and my Mom.  What a perfect way to start the week.  

It's booked

This week I was more than excited to get an email from Ally Jenkins (Kate- Roommate from college's little sister) inviting all Kate's girlfriends to New Orleans for her Bachelorette party. New Orleans has been on my bucket list for awhile and while I wanted to go for Mardi Gras, Labor day will have to do. My old college roommates were great and found flights today and seats so we could all sit together. Can't wait and I am so glad to have booked the trip today, woohoo!

If only...

While I travel a lot, I am always making lists of places I hope to go too.  Greece has always been at the top of the list.  Since I follow a blog about a girl in Europe, she has definitely convinced me that Greece is and will always be #1 on my list after reading this post<------click here!!!

Patiently waiting...again

only a few more days until we get to see the cute pictures of Cade, can't wait!!!  It looks like Allison Anne did an amazing job!!!

1 month 1 week

Let the countdown continue... we are definitely counting down the days before vacation and swimsuit time.  We are working out a lot so of course I am checking out cute work out clothes.

Rethinking

Last night after a day fun of laughter (at Cade's expense-- see stuffed cat picture below) we decided to head to Zipps for dinner.

Ali and Adrian had gone out with some friends and we were craving the wings after hearing them talk about happy hour.  Zipps is such a hit and miss sometime but Tommy and I rallied Sam, Cullen and Becky and gave the wings a try.  After a delicious dinner, and far too many Zipperitas (there might have been a shot taken between a few of the attendees) Zipps had hit the spot!!!  We headed back home to watch a movie and enjoy an extra Bundt cake Becky had got us (Thanks Beck)!

This morning I am thinking No more Zipperitas for me (or at least that is what my head is thinking)

Saturday morning

6am: hike with Loomer
8am: shower time
9:30am: breakfast at Liberty Market with Ali and Grandma Kak (delllliiiccciioouusss)
10:30am: furniture shopping for Ali and my mom. Cade watching for me!!

What a perfect 4th!

We were lucky enough to log some hours in with the Marasigans...And even Lucy got to meet Cade. While she was very excited to be there, she was even more curious but she warmed right up. We watched sports and had a fantastic dinner (thanks Ali and Adrian).
