Camp T

I try not to say it too loud but I am more than excited for football season to start.  For whatever reason I am looking forward to not just ASU football but NFL as well.  Tommy, Andra, Andrew and I skipped out of the heat last weekend and drove to Payson.
While we went to watch the Sun Devils scrimmage, we also turned off  work cellphones, tried some new restaurants and didn't get burned.
As always we are more than excited for kick off, let the countdown begin.

9 days till the first game!

Getting Ready

There is always time for a first, and since this football season is no exception I may be trying something new.  As always we in the Bailey Condo are more than excited for College Football to start, so we can cheer on our Sun Devils.  Sam might even be excited since we got a new t.v. in our bedroom, which means we won't be hogging the living room t.v.
I bought this amazing sign to go in the man cave someday, but until then it will go with the 800 other ASU things in the condo.  As an effort to get more interested in the rest of football, this year for the first time I joined some fantasy teams.  They are just pick em leagues but we all know I tend to get a little tooo competitive, so it is good to start small.  So now not only am I excited about the ASU kickoff but I am even more excited to do my picks for Week 1.

Go Devils!

Sharing is caring.

Gadzooks

I moved offices last week and after 7 years at work, moving was a full day project.  At lunch time Jamie stopped over to check out the new space.  We decided to try somewhere new for lunch, since our boys tend to make us go to the same places to eat... sometimes.
We both have been eyeing Gadzooks on Osborn and 7th Street.  It is simply explained just like Chipotle but with Enchiladas.  The Sweet and Spicy Cornbread is AMAZING!  Jamie and I will definitely be back and I am pretty sure Tommy and Justin will want to come as well.  Delicious!
One of the positives of moving to a new building... new restaurants to try :-)

Grateful

I made it through an exhausting summer at work.  I am not exactly sure what I would have done without all the support from all my friends and family.  I am sooooo thankful for all the new relationships that were built in just 8 short weeks.  I will definitely never doubt myself again, because I learned that I am capable of doing anything I put my mind too.
While I took the weekend to relax and reflect, I plan on taking some time off later this week in order to hang out with my family.  I look forward to taking some mental health time to reset and get focused for the 2014 school year.

I can't believe school is about to begin again... where did summer go?

Ranch Monster

The highlight to my entire weekend.
My Ranch Monster.

Looks like Ketchup has got competition.

Relaxing before the storm.

As any behavior analyst would, I set up a contingency when work got crazy this summer.  I found one of my top reinforcers, pedicures and made sure to hold that contingent until all my hard work was finished.
Last week was my final week wrapping everything up and I may have cheated and rewarded myself a day early.

But I deserved it right??

Everyone needs to be spoiled every now and then.
