Who would've guessed

We had a great Saturday yesterday and yes of course it included watching football ALLLL day (from 9:45am- 11pm).  We started off watching the bowl games at home but knew we would have to go somewhere else to meet up with friends to cheer on our Sun Devils.  After having some difficulty finding a place to play the sound for the game, we settled on Hooters (not gluten free friendly).  The Sun Devils played great and brought home a victory which helped all of us in our bowl brackets.  Here are the standings after 5 games yesterday if only OSU and TCU could've pulled it out as well...
After the Sun Devils game we meet up with everyone that was heading to the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl game and enjoyed some dinner and drinks.  We even found gluten free beer at World of Beers (not to bad).  We meet up with more than enough friends and family and had a great time catching up.
Plans for Sunday...
yep you guessed it more football.  We will be heading to Cullen's to show our Vikings pride (proudly wearing our new Viking gear from Emily, Thanks Em!)  Go Vikes!!

Santa delivers...

There is nothing better than spending Christmas with your family and liking every single one of your gifts.  I love that I don't have to return anything (well besides to get a few different sizes).  I guess that means your family/friends know you pretty well.  My list of excellent presents included work out clothes, a kindle, underwear, fun clothes, a watch, make up, perfume, etc.  Tommy did some top secret detective work and found this ring from Etsy that I pinned on Pinterest.  He snooped around to figure out my ring size and boom he blew my mind.  Normally I know all my presents before I open them but this year I only knew one and would've never guessed what Tommy would pick...
Please don't mind my wrinkled dry hands
We enjoyed two full days with my family and headed home to get back to work.  Thank goodness it was a three day week.  :-)

Feeling crabby

K Bails was feeling crabby (in the mood for fresh crab) on Christmas Eve, not to be confused with being in a bad mood (she was actually in a great mood!)  We tried something new for Christmas Eve dinner and there weren't too many complaints.  Those of you who know my picky eating Dad well know crab for dinner is a big deal!!  To top off our Christmas Eve Cullen, Becky, Mom, Dad and I enjoyed our dinner (since it was gluten free), watched movies and patiently waited for Santa.
Got to be careful with this lady, you could lose a finger if you get to close to her crab
Since Tommy spent Christmas Eve with his family he missed out on the original crab fest.  Luckily my mom saved some for him and Adrian.  Tommy made sure to enjoy his stash on Christmas night back at my place (he even shared some with Sam).  All in all everyone was feeling crabby- even Lucy was hoping to get in on the action.
Don't worry Dad Chunky/Lucy didn't have any! We are sticking to the diet!

Looking like a big boy

I can't believe Cade is already/only 6 months old.  He is rolling over, scooting, making all kinds of noises, laughing and his hair is starting to grow back in.  Cade is weighing in at 20 lbs and let me tell you this Auntie Snack needs to go back to Pilates because I can't hold him more than two minutes (Lucy might weigh just a few pounds more than him).  Here are a few adorable pictures of Cade in his big boy clothes.  Ali is soooo lucky to have a best friend that works at Gap.  Carly sure knows how to spoil Cade and his Mommy.

A special visitor

Our crazy neighbor lady flew South to visit my mom a few weekends ago.  There is nothing better than Judy being in town because she puts my mom in the BEST mood.  That must be what true friendship is about!  Since Jude was in town all the Bailey's headed to my parents for dinner.  Ali and Adrian brought Cade in his adorable doggie outfit.
We had a great time involving cosmos, delicious food and lots of laughs.  Can't wait to see Judy (and all the Nylanders) in May for Cullen's wedding.

Christmas came early

Since Sammy is heading to her parents tonight, Friday night was our last night all together before Christmas.  Three's company decided to open our presents and stockings and to have our favorite meal together.  Since NY Pizza is Sammy's favorite and they have a gluten free option that was the winner.  Everyone LOVED their gifts (even Lucy) and Sammy and I headed to bed early (still trying to beat this nasty cold that has turned into bronchitis).  All in all a perfect early start to the Christmas activities. :-)

Keeps getting better

The best news about the GF diet is that bacon is still allowed.  So it is now day 9 of the diet and my doctor was 100% correct, my stomach feels great.  I am finding more and more things to eat everyday.  The trickiest part of this diet is finding things to eat at restaurants.  So far I have had major success at In and Out, Pei Wei, The Vig, Wendys, Chipotle and Beckett's Table (will post more on the last restaurant soon).  There is nothing better than bacon mid week at work, while working on progress reports :-)

Day 4

So due to all my stomach problems the past few years my doctor suggested that I try the GF (gluten free) diet.  Only a few days later Ali changed up Cade's diet (tried starting baby food).  I think Cade and I feel exactly the same way about our new diets and Cade's pictures help to express how we feel....haha
It is only day four on the diet.  I've heard it gets better, until then I am starving so I am off to look for something GOOD and GF to eat.

Browsing around

I might be in the market for some adorable pink wedges.  Or more importantly I need to find some shoes to match a hot pink dress.  Options, options, options...
