On the go

While I feel like we're finally back in our routine (post wedding celebration and studying), somebody else is on the go more than ever.  Cade's birthday is approaching quickly and I still can't believe he is almost one. Currently he is loving hot dogs, swimming and motoring his push toy EVERYWHERE.

Since it was Memorial Day weekend we took full advantage and packed our weekend with movies, reading, shopping and even 18 holes of golf.  Even though we were busy this weekend, I somehow took no pictures.  So I guess I'll have to litter this post with just two more pictures of Cade instead... if I have too! :-)

Sunday Funday!

Since I spent my last weekend being a hermit I am glad to see someone was able to enjoy their weekend.

My roommate was so thoughtful and took Lucy off my hands on Sunday.  Not only was I able to study and focus for many hours but Lucy was able to do her favorite thing in the world, swimming!  Mucho Gracias to Tommy and Sammy for putting up with my difficult attitude/study habits for the last few months.  Lucy might be dead without you...

Crazy Friday night

Goose and I sure know how to party on a Friday night (I promise this picture is not staged).  Lucy was helping me stay focused and her strategies worked because I feel great closing the books/computer tonight.  While Saturday and Sunday will probably be a similar routine at least I have a reward planned for tomorrow night (ASU/U of A baseball game). 

After hours and hours of studying tonight I decided to wrap up and take Lucy to the mailbox for a little walk.  We were pleasantly surprised with another little care package from Ellie (the place with fantastic work out clothes).  I decided to do another membership of workout clothes for May and Lucy and I may/may have not ran all the way back to the condo due to the excitement of trying on new clothes (yes even workout clothes).  The picture shown below are the two tops I picked out for May and I already LOVE them.  Can't wait to try them out tomorrow morning... okay let's be realistic maybe Sunday morning.

Nothing better than a wedding

As many of you know I have always LOVED weddings.  They are always fun, busy and filled with creative ideas.  Last weekend was nothing short of perfect and Cade and I both missed all the madness come Monday.  Cade missed it so much that he rubbed his food in his hair... hahaha wild man.  Cade is up and in everything these days, with his first wave, pulling himself up and babbling like crazy.  I can't even believe his birthday is quickly approaching and who even knows where an entire year went.  What does one get for an adorable one year old??  We will have to wait and see ;-)

Wedding Weekend

Since I can't even begin to tell you how fun the wedding festivities were I'll let the pictures do the talking and since I am still trying to get back into the normal swing of things my brain isn't working at it's normal blogging capacity.  Here are just some of our pictures from the weekend.  I am going to wait to do most wedding posts until the professional pics get here.

Kate Spade really knocked it out of the park with her cute summer line, I love all the colors and prints!!  Good thing I still have a gift card for there.

The news this week

On Wednesday Lucy and I talked to our Veterinarian aka my mom.  She suggested Lucy try grain free dog food.  So we headed over to Petsmart and after some excellent customer service we walked out with this Gluten free dog food.  I definitely laughed to myself/out loud as Lucy and I drove home both Gluten Free.

Also we got a new fan and Lucy figured out how it worked after a few short hours.  This is now her new spot, front and center (ears blowing in the wind).

Lastly my good friend Collyn had her Baby girl on Tuesday night.  So I proudly introduce Hannah Frances Hawley!!!   While I am still counting down the days until I can meet her, Mom, Dad and Hannah are all doing great and are getting settled in at home.
